A letter from our Primary Recruitment Director

Hi girls! My name is Quinn O’Brien, and this year I have the absolute honor of serving as Kappa’s Primary Recruitment Director! I’m a rising Junior from Chicago, Illinois and I’m so excited to step into this role for Kappa.

Kappa has given so much to me that it only felt right to be able to give back to it through recruitment. It feels like just yesterday that I was in your shoes, preparing to go through recruitment, and feeling so nervous as an out of state student who knew almost nobody here. 

Our goal is to get to know each of you for who you genuinely are, and we’re so excited to see it happen! I found my home in Kappa, a place I knew I could show up and be myself everyday, and have uplifting friendships with so many different women that make me better every day!

I’m beyond excited to see the friendships and bonds you make through and throughout Recruitment, and how those are nurtured through college and beyond. Being a part of this chapter has truly helped me grow into myself, with support and encouragement from the women of this chapter. No matter where you end up, you'll have friends who will support you throughout everything. 

This chapter has given me so much, and I cannot wait to pour back into it. I’ve never laughed harder than I do with the girls of this chapter, and cannot wait to see them pour back into y’all too. We’re so excited to meet you, and can’t wait to see what you accomplish!
