A letter from our Primary Recruitment Director

    Hi! My name is Ellie Bassett and I have the privilege of serving as Kappa Kappa Gamma's Primary Recruitment Director this year. Our committee is hard at work planning to welcome all of you who will join us this fall. We're eagerly anticipating the opportunity to connect with each of you during this meaningful season of life. These upcoming years are bound to be filled with precious memories and we hope you can share some of them with us!

    I understand that Recruitment can stir up a whirlwind of emotions – I've been through it myself. But please know, our aim is to truly get to know YOU for who you are. Stepping into Kappa during my freshman year, I discovered a space where I could be completely authentic, without reservation. Each passing day deepened my connections with my sisters and it felt as if I had known them for a lifetime. The joy I experienced on Bid Day while running home to Kappa made every emotion from Recruitment worthwhile. The bonds and friendships I've formed within our chapter are invaluable treasures, ones I wouldn't trade for anything. I'm grateful for the blessings and lessons Kappa has given me. My hope for you is that amidst this process, you'll discover a community of resilient young women who will stand by you through the highs and lows of college life and life after college.

    My primary goal for our chapter is for each member to showcase their love for Kappa and the invaluable gifts it has given all of us: lifelong friendships that will endure for decades, a profound sense of belonging, and a nurturing environment where love is both given and received in the greatest forms. I am incredibly excited to finally meet each of you in August, and I'm confident our chapter shares in this enthusiasm!
