To potential new members,

Hi! My name is Courtney Johnson, and I have the absolute privilege and honor of serving as Kappa Kappa Gamma’s Primary Recruitment Director. As a rising junior from Littleton, Colorado, I’m so excited to welcome all of you as you embark on this new season of your lives.

I completely understand how Recruitment can stir up all kinds of emotions – I was in your shoes just two short years ago! I’ll never forget my own experience going through it and how nervous I felt, but I want you to know that our goal is to genuinely get to know each of you for who you are. During my own journey, I found that Kappa was a place where I could see myself—a place where I could show up every day and unapologetically be myself.

I can’t wait to see all of the friendships you’ll form, the memories you’ll make, and the amazing women you’ll meet throughout Recruitment. The bonds you create during (and from) this process will be some of the most meaningful of your college years and beyond. For me, being a part of this chapter has been a constant source of joy, support, and encouragement that I will always cherish. I hope you’ll find that same sense of belonging, and know that no matter where you end up, you’ll have a group of women who will be there for you through every season of life.

Above all, my goal for this Recruitment process is to ensure that you feel welcomed, supported, and truly seen. Our chapter has given me so much, and I can’t wait to show you that when you step through our doors. We are all eager to meet you and can’t wait to welcome you into this special part of your college journey.
