Courtney Johnson | Vice President of Membership

 

"Hi! My name is Courtney Johnson, and I have the absolute privilege and honor of serving as Kappa Kappa Gamma’s Vice President of Membership. As a rising senior from Littleton, Colorado, I’m so excited to welcome all of you as you embark on this new season of your lives.

I completely understand how Recruitment can stir up all kinds of emotions – I was in your shoes just two short years ago! I’ll never forget my own experience going through it and how nervous I felt, but I want you to know that our goal is to genuinely get to know each of you for who you are. During my own journey, I found that Kappa was a place where I could see myself—a place where I could show up every day and unapologetically be myself. The bonds you create during (and from) this process will be some of the most meaningful of your college years and beyond. For me, being a part of this chapter has been a constant source of joy, support, and encouragement that I will always cherish. I hope you’ll find that same sense of belonging, and know that no matter where you end up, you’ll have a group of women who will be there for you through every season of life.

Above all, my goal for this Recruitment process is to ensure that you feel welcomed, supported, and truly seen. Our chapter has given me so much, and I can’t wait to show you that when you step through our doors. Quinn O'Brien | Primary Recruitment Director

 

"Hi girls! My name is Quinn O’Brien, and this year I have the absolute honor of serving as Kappa’s Primary Recruitment Director! I’m a rising junior from Chicago, Illinois, and I’m so excited to step into this role for Kappa.

Kappa has given so much to me that it only felt right to be able to give back to it through recruitment. It feels like just yesterday that I was in your shoes, preparing to go through recruitment, and feeling so nervous as an out-of-state student who knew almost nobody here.

This chapter has given me so much, and I cannot wait to pour back into it. I’ve never laughed harder than I do with the girls of this chapter, and cannot wait to see them pour back into y’all too. No matter where you end up, you'll have friends who will support you throughout everything. We’re so excited to meet you, and can’t wait to see what you accomplish!

  • July 7: Deadline to order extra T-shirts through registration

  • July 14: Registration closes at 12 PM CST

  • July 31 – August 6: Ice Water Tea Canvas modules open

  • August 6: Panhellenic Recruitment Kickoff

  • August 7: PNM Welcome Brunch & Ice Water Tea Round

  • August 8–10: Philanthropy Round

  • August 11–13: Sisterhood Round

  • August 14: Preference Round

  • August 15: Bid Day!
